Autumn brings a wave of new releases aimed at roast-season menus and cellar refreshes. From 16 to 18 October 2026 the Praterinsel in Munich will host a tasting-focused fair where producers present bottlings directly to trade and hospitality buyers.
Dates venue and opening hours
VinoMunich (Otoño) 2026 runs from Friday 16 to Sunday 18 October at Praterinsel, Praterinsel 3-4, 80538 Munich. Opening hours are Friday 13:00 to 19:00, Saturday 12:00 to 19:00 and Sunday 12:00 to 18:00. The event uses the vaulted cellars of the former Riemerschmidt liqueur factory.
Advance tickets are available online from 23 EUR and at the door for 25 EUR. Admission includes tastings of the wines on site and a printed exhibitor catalogue. Entry is permitted from age 21.
Exhibitor mix and tasting offer
The fair lists 120 exhibitors across 1,600 m2. Presenters include independent winemakers, family estates, cooperatives and direct importers. Represented origins cover German regions such as Mosel, Saar, Ruwer, Ahr, Nahe, Rheingau, Franken, Rheinhessen, Pfalz, Baden and Württemberg, alongside producers from Italy, Spain, Portugal, France, Austria, South Africa, Chile, Australia and New Zealand.
Approximately 900 wines will be available for tasting, with emphasis on the freshly bottled 2025 vintage and a particular focus on red Burgundian varieties for the roast season.
Format and on-floor interaction
Winemakers are present to comment on their bottlings and facilitate direct tastings. The setup favours stand-by-stand tasting and written catalogues that allow buyers to locate producers by region and style. The format is oriented to tasting and transactional contact rather than large lecture sessions.
