How to prepare prospecting at Equip’Baie 2026
- Segment targets by subsector. Identify joinery manufacturers, metalworking companies and hardware suppliers before the fair and assign priority according to active projects.
- Plan meetings in pavilions 4, 5 and 6 and confirm times by email. Scheduling meetings in specific time slots reduces wasted time and allows you to cover more pavilions.
- Technical material on hand. Bring datasheets with technical specifications, photos of installations and use cases relevant to construction and refurbishment. On-site decisions are technical and require concrete data.
- Focused demonstrations and samples. Prioritize samples that show real performance in safety, insulation or durability. A well-chosen physical piece facilitates the conversation with specifiers.
- Capture leads with a standard method. Use digital forms with key technical fields to classify contacts by need and urgency. Agree on a clear follow-up timeframe during the conversation.
- Prepared team. A pre-event briefing of the sales team with defined roles, technical arguments and demonstration items avoids improvisation and improves the conversion rate.
