Technical practice and research in tree care are converging as equipment and safety standards evolve. In April 2027 that convergence happens in Augsburg, where Deutsche Baumpflegetage 2027 takes place from April 20 to 22.
Practical information for Deutsche Baumpflegetage 2027
The event runs over three days at Messe Augsburg. The reception counter is located in the foyer of Hall 1, Schwabenhalle. Forum Baumpflege GmbH & Co. KG organizes the conference, handling the program and exhibitor management. The official website provides registration and logistics details for visitors and exhibitors.
Program and highlighted activities in Augsburg
The schedule pairs a three-day professional conference with lectures and discussions, a Kletterforum offering presentations and live rope-climbing demonstrations, and a trade fair. Demonstrations take place both inside the exhibition hall and in the courtyard to show equipment in operational conditions.
Exhibitor profile and company types
The fair brings together manufacturers of pruning machinery, suppliers of hand tools and safety systems for working at height, plus technical service providers and consultancies focused on tree care. The set-up allows side-by-side comparison of maintenance solutions and live testing of products used by arborists and municipal tree services.
Key figures
The organizer lists more than 160 exhibitors at the accompanying trade fair. The mix covers product supply chains and technical services relevant to arborists and maintenance contractors.
Commercial prospecting and actionable steps
Approach the event with a short list of target exhibitors and book demonstration slots at the Kletterforum when possible. Prepare technical checklists that cover compatibility, spare parts availability and after-sales support. Schedule brief on-site meetings during off-peak hours and use the annual Yearbook of Tree Care distributed to attendees as a leave-behind containing technical references and contacts.
