Northern Germany’s coastal cultural calendar includes a focused fair on craft and photographic work. Cux Art 2026 takes place from 16 to 17 May 2026 in Cuxhaven and stages artist booths and live interventions at the Kugelbake-Halle.
What to expect at Cux Art 2026
The fair presents applied crafts, curated photographic series and paintings aimed at collectors and specialist audiences. The format includes venue walkthroughs and live painting sessions as part of the published program. The layout favors side-by-side comparison of techniques and formats across small studios and gallery displays.
Venue and practical note
Cux Art 2026 is hosted at the Kugelbake-Halle in Cuxhaven. The hall supports installations of various sizes and live performances. Dates are 16 and 17 May 2026, so allot time for setup if you exhibit large-format works.
Exhibitor and audience profile
Participants include artisan makers, photographers and small galleries. The fair serves as a place to assess recent production and to scout authors working in object making and photographic series. Buyers from private collections and small institutional buyers use the fair to compare offers quickly.
Preparing B2B outreach for the fair
Set concrete targets per meeting. Map exhibitors beforehand and prepare a compact portfolio with optimized images. For physical works bring technical sheets and price lists or commission terms. If you seek collaborations, include links to online portfolios and a brief commissioning framework in initial contacts.
During the fair use scheduled walkthroughs and live sessions to start conversations in context. Opt for short, action-oriented meetings and propose a specific follow-up date to convert a contact into a meeting.
Practical tips for professional visitors
Approach photography sections with a clear search criterion to avoid distraction. For large works confirm dimensions and transport conditions. Representatives of galleries or cultural spaces should collect contact details on site and request condition sheets.
