July places a spotlight on gallery trade and contemporary practice in Baden. Art.baden 2026 takes place from 24 to 26 July at Casino Baden and presents curated gallery displays within a historic venue.
Venue and visiting hours at Casino Baden
The fair runs inside Casino Baden at Kaiser Franz-Ring 1. The opening schedule starts Friday 24 July with a vernissage at 18:00 followed by the official opening from 19:00 to 22:00. Saturday 25 includes the art.night with activity until 23:00 and Sunday 26 is open from 14:00 to 20:00.
Exhibitor profile and format
Around 40 selected exhibitors from Austria and abroad show their artists. The emphasis falls on contemporary gallery presentations while also making room for modern art and the art trade, with stands geared to dealers, galleries and collectors.
Program highlights for this edition
Artist statements will present recent tendencies in visual arts, and a dedicated talk addresses the art market. Saturday evening’s art.night connects the fair with participating institutions across Baden, extending exposure beyond the exhibition floor.
Practical prospecting advice for buyers and galleries
- Preselect targets. With 40 exhibitors, narrow your list to priority galleries and artists and plan three meaningful visits per day.
- Bring concise materials. Use a compact paper dossier and a mobile-friendly digital portfolio for instant follow up.
- Use the market talk strategically. Introduce negotiation topics and valuation questions in follow-up meetings after the session.
- Schedule meetings. Block time Friday evening and Saturday morning for formal conversations and use art.night for informal relationship building.
Why attend this edition
The climate-controlled historic setting suits fragile works and provides a compact structure for discovery and trade. The curated exhibitor mix and the market-focused talk give concrete angles for commercial conversations.
